Zoom discussions Wednesday evening (April 29)

TAC's session with RentSafe T.O. staff over Zoom has been running for almost two hours. We are recording it; it will be interesting to see where, when and how TAC shares their analysis.
Again, TAC is the "tenant action committee" at the FMTA. They have hosted "RentSafe" before, with mixed results. User-to-user chat is usually disabled at these things, so I initially wanted to try to host a *more open* discussion immediately before, and immediately after, the TAC event. But it's turned out to be quite a slice of pie!
I think we are going to call it a night. At least we know Zoom works.
Note that the Zoom Communications software (like "Webex" it's an American company based in California) certainly allows session hosts to poll participants for their feelings about the internet and privacy, and unlike "TAC", we are able to host in-person meetings, and we have a secure bulletin board.
Here's a screenshot from a past "TAC" session with RentSafe; that's me in the top left, signing on with one of my other, sister, systems. Note that TAC has zero in the way of notice boards (how ironic can you get?) and the FMTA previously took down the renters forum!!!
As I mentioned, I have hands-on experience and evidence that RentSafe is not policing their "rules".... So who is the real winner here?
